Arbor Alma | fabricated and cast bronze, cast iron, live beech tree | 2011 | University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Sage Hall. Designed in collaboration with William Bennie. This project features a 6’ bronze vessel planted with a beech tree on an 8’ cast iron tree grate ornamented with bronze leaves. The project also includes four peripheral cast iron tree grates, four cast bronze cardinal markers embedded in the courtyard, and four 8.5’ cast bronze thresholds.

Wreathes are full of symbolism and have long been associated with entrances.

Grovers Pedestrian Bridge | steel, bronze, concrete | 2003 | 240' long artist designed pedestrian bridge over Highway 51 in Phoenix, AZ | This bridge, with its rounded arches reminiscent of local Spanish revival architecture, is intended to serve freeway users as a formal gateway to the greater Phoenix area. Lined with 24 bronze plaques, the interior offers a more intimate experience.
